DISTRICT LEADERSHIP COMMITTEE
Every year, District 107 looks for new leaders who have a core understanding of Toastmasters International, including themission, vision, and interconnection among clubs, Areas, Divisions, and the District. Additionally, these leaders should exhibit skills in strategic thinking, project/program management, effective communication, leading teams, and practical training.
In order to ensure successful District elections, the District Director Claudia Villarreal appointed this District LeadershipCommittee, whose work is critical in ensuring long-term District success.
Our District Leadership Committee members were chosen one from each District 107 Division, with the help of their respective Division Directors, for their leadership abilities, commitment to the best interests of our members, coupled with their experience serving on District Teams at different levels.

I want to continue to learn and pass on the information I was taught.
Most important of all is that I want to use all my experience in Toastmasters to serve the clubs.
During this years of serving our District I have learn a lot about Toastmasters and one of the things I have learned is to prevent or be ready for the problems that will appear during the year.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO SERVE AS DISTRICT LEADER?
I want to serve as a District Leader because I am passionate about empowering individuals and helping them grow.
Toastmasters has had a profound impact on my own personal and professional development, and I want to give back to the organization by contributing to its growth and success at the district level.
As a District Leader, I would have the opportunity to create a positive, inclusive environment where members feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential. I’m excited by the prospect of working with other leaders and members to promote the Toastmasters program, develop new initiatives, and ensure that the district’s goals are met.
Additionally, I believe my skills in communication, leadership, and strategic planning align well with the responsibilities of the District Leader role. I want to use these skills to help streamline processes, create meaningful connections, and provide the necessary resources to enhance the district’s effectiveness.
Ultimately, I’m driven by the idea of making a lasting impact in the Toastmasters community, supporting both existing members and new ones as they embark on their leadership and communication journeys. WHY DO YOU WANT TO SERVE AS DISTRICT LEADER?

When I joined Toastmasters, I had an exclusive focus on improving my communication skills. But I was soon told that I would discover much more in Toastmasters than just communication skills. I didn't understand it at the time, but today I can see how awesome it is to make others grow, to follow their growth, and to be happy about it. Toastmasters has given me so much, it makes me want to keep giving back and by being a District Leader I can continue to do that, always in a fun
way, and with the necessary quality.

I want to serve as a District leader to improve my delegation skills, which is an area I find challenging. I often find myself being the last to leave, and while I respect everyone's work schedule, I believe that fostering greater commitment can lead to even better results and I would also like to take care more of myself not being so workalcoholic. WHY DO YOU WANT TO SERVE AS DISTRICT LEADER?
When first I joined Toastmasters, my primary aim was to enhance my public speaking abilities, however by taking on various leadership positions within both the club and the District, I not only developed confidence but embarked on an incredibly enriching journey. Last year and this year while working with District team, I realized my desire to support the clubs and rise the awarness of Toastmasters.
Looking ahead, I'm eager to continue serving the Toastmasters community and help to build an inculsive environment when everyone can grow.

I think that serving as a District leader will give me the opportunity to learn more, to grow more and to perfect my skills and acquisitions more. This is on a personal level.
I also think that this would be great for my Club and all the clubs of my country to have a representative in an important leading position. This will give them more visibility, and bring them closer to the toastmasters community.
