The Gharnata Palace
The Gharnata Palace extends over a surface of 2000m².
Ancient house built in the XVI th century, belonging to the right hand of the Pasha of Marrakesh in 1920 then acquired and restored by Moulay Ahmed El Amrani.
The Gharnata palace is situated between the Bahia palace, the prefecture of the medina and the Dar Si Said museum, a strategic place, visited by thousands of tourists.
Grounds, walls, pillars and doors are the result of a craft wooden work of sculptured and painted cedar, mosaics finely chiseled and treated in seven colours, of powder stucco of marble and plaster, all done in accordance with the canons of the Arabic geometr

Kees Broos brings twenty years of experience as a member of Toastmasters International.
As a leader, he was the Toastmasters International District Director for Northern, Central and Eastern Europe in 2014-2015, District 95 and from 2018-2019 the appointed Toastmasters International Region Adviser for China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and the Philippines, Region 14.
As a speaker, he was a finalist in the Toastmasters International Speech Contest in D59 in 2008 and D 95 in 2017.
A passionate backpacker, he travelled in over 75 countries, and this time the destination is Marrakech.

Lives in Portugal since 1990, he joined the Lisbon MBA Toastmasters club in 2017 and since then won many titles:
Champion of the Evaluation speech competition Division D in 2018, and three times consecutive winner
of District 107 International Speech Contest.
