DISTRICT LEADERSHIP COMMITTEE
Every year, District 107 looks for new leaders that have a core understanding of Toastmasters International, including the mission, vision, and interconnection among clubs, Areas, Divisions, and the District. Additionally, these leaders should exhibit skills in strategic thinking, project/program management, effective communication, leading teams, and practical training.
In order to ensure successful District elections, the District Director appointed this District Leadership Committee, whose work is critical in ensuring long-term District success. Our District Leadership Committee members were chosen, one from each District 107 Division, by their respective Division Directors, for their leadership abilities, commitment to the best interests of our members, coupled with their experience serving on District Teams at different levels.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO SERVE AS DISTRICT LEADER?
I personally love people, mingling, languages, cultures, diversity, and learning. Toastmasters provides all this "as a service" :) What I mean is, by being a Toastmaster, you get the chance to evolve and develop leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. And on top of it, by being a District Leader in Toastmasters, you can truly put into practice what you learn to SERVE others, and help them, at their own stages, improve, evolve, and develop. I owe this to Toastmasters and to myself.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO SERVE AS DISTRICT LEADER?
When I joined Toastmasters, my ultimate goal was to work on my public speaking skills, but, after serving twice as a club officer I have gained confidence, it was a worthy journey and motivating experience, until last year, I never imagine that I will send my candidate for a District position, it was a challenge since we were undistricted club , luckily this year Morocco Area has been aligned with the District 107.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO SERVE AS DISTRICT LEADER?
If there is a word to define myself, I would say communivative. Because I believe the relationship comes first in all aspects to our life and the appropriate communication is fundamental to achieve a good relationship. All of my profesional experiences have to do with the communication: mediator, consultant of the nonverbal communication; The lessions that I ́m leaning as a Area Director are so helpful for my personal and professsional improvements that I ́m willing to get trained further and do more practices to be a better person.
